Google launches Gemini 3.5 Flash with faster speeds and stronger coding and agentic performance

Google DeepMind announced Gemini 3.5 Flash at Google I/O, claiming it outperforms Gemini 3.1 Pro on coding and agentic tasks while being 4x faster than other frontier models and achieving 800 tokens per second in Antigravity. The model is available in Antigravity, the Gemini app, and other products, and is often offered at less than half the cost of comparable models.
